With multiple service we have a place for all musicians. We have worship teams, choir, soloist, instrumentalist and work to develop worship teams that look to bless the Lord. Join us in giving back to the lord by sharing the talents he has blessed you with 

At Mount Vernon Baptist Church we have several opportunities to get involved with the technical aspects of producing service as well as live streaming content. If you have a passion for sound production, video production, live streaming, web design or an artistic eye for graphical design we have a place for you to use your God given talents!

At Mount Vernon we strive to teach and educate all worship team members on the true purpose of worship, bring glory to God and Him alone. We take a biblical approach to worship which is bigger than music. 

At MVBC Choir is a intergenerational experience that brings worshipers together. Our choir utilizes a variety of song choices and styles to bring a worship experience that reaches all generations. We give praise to the lord weekly in services and dig into his word, pray and love on each other every week at 7:30 on Thursday evening for Praisetice! (Not Practice....see what we did there) All signers are welcome to join, and if you are under 16 we ask that you be accompanied by an adult.    

Worship is not just a Sunday thing. Worship is a lifestyle. Romans 12:1 says
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. At MVBC we look to present our whole lives to Jesus as an act of worship.

We are a loving caring community of believers who believer in encouraging to every believer who presents their life/worship to Him. Every member of the team is viewed as critical as we all have our roles to play.

We believe in giving our best efforts to deliver music and media in a way that glorifies God as we plan and practice weekly to give Him our best efforts. We pursue musical excellence for him.
